Over the years, Clarington Museums has had numerous visitors come through our doors to research their family or home. They’ve shown us different artifacts they’ve found in their attic, or shared with us stories of strange events that have taken place here in Clarington. We’ll be sharing some of these tales with you as we virtually tour the streets of Bowmanville. Bowmanville is a town that is no stranger to the paranormal or the odd. We have incidents dating back to the earliest settlers who came first to this area. These stories have been handed down from generation to generation, and now form part of our local folklore.
