Museum Service Updates

Service Update: March 10, 2022

As per Roadmap Exit Step regulations, Clarington Museums & Archives has re-opened the Sarah Jane Williams Centre for research assistance and/or self-directed tours of exhibits with no appointments required as of Monday, March 21, 2022. Hours of Museum operation are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Research appointments are encouraged so staff may have the requested materials available.

Service Update: January 24, 2022

As per the Province’s phased approach easing public health restrictions, Clarington Museums & Archives will re-open the Sarah Jane Williams Centre on an appointment-only basis for research assistance and/or self-directed tours of exhibits effective as of Monday, January 31, 2022. Appointments are available Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

As per the Modified Step 2 of the Roadmap to Reopen, Clarington Museums & Archives is closed to in-person visits. Virtual services are available Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
